Lenovo has introduced MacBook competitors — its most premium laptops.
Lenovo has announced a new line of Slim laptops. These are premium consumer models designed to compete with the M2 MacBook. The lineup includes the updated 14.5-inch Slim Pro 7 and 14-inch Slim 7i, as well as the more expensive Slim Pro 9i in 14.5-inch and 16-inch variants.
The Slim Pro 9i comes with 13th generation Intel Core processors and Nvidia RTX 4070 GPU, as well as a 3.2K display and a 165 Hz refresh rate. The more affordable Slim 7i based on the AMD Ryzen processor is aimed at "content creators" who value multitasking. It received an RTX 3050 and a 3K 120 Hz screen. The Slim 7i will be equipped with integrated Intel graphics.
Slim Pro 7 and Slim 7i were priced at 1199.99 and 1179.99 dollars, respectively. Their sales will begin in the USA in April. Slim Pro 9i will go on sale in May. Prices for 14.5-inch models start at $ 1,699.99, and for 16-inch models — from $ 1,799.99.
