ROG Ally will run on a modified Ryzen APU processor from AMD
Asus introduced the ROG Ally portable game console with APU Risen and Windows 11 OS.
Asus surprised gamers on April Fools' Day by announcing the ROG Ally portable game console. However, the joke turned out to be true, as the device will soon be available for purchase.
According to Asus, ROG Ally will run on a modified Ryzen APU processor from AMD and will be equipped with a 7-inch screen capable of displaying a 1080p image with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a brightness of 500 nits and an aspect ratio of 16:9. The console will also run under the Windows 11 operating system and will be equipped with a cooling system with two fans.
Other technical specifications have not yet been disclosed, the release date and price have not yet been announced.
